Unable to Complete a Job because of Maintenance Contract Dates

If you are unable to complete a job because you get the message:

“Equipment XXXX was not active on Maintenance Contract XXX on XXXXXX.”

This can be overcome by one of two methods. The first thing to do is to ensure that the piece of equipment(s) identified are actually on the Maintenance Contract that the Job is linked to/specified in the prompt.

If the piece of equipment is indeed active on the maintenance contract, then it means that the due date does not fall within the ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’  of that piece of equipment on the Maintenance Contract. Any of these three dates (depending on Invoices raised on the Maintenance Contract) can be amended to ensure that the job has a due date within the Start and End Date of the maintenance contract dates.

Once you have amended one of the dates you will be able to complete the job.
