Equipment Pop-Up Notes

Pop-Up Notes can be set up against Equipment records so that they appear at appropriate times when they appear/are used in the system. You may wish to use this for example to specify to users across the system the exact location of a piece of equipment.

To set up a Pop-Up Note on an equipment record, click into the record you wish to set this up for. On the ‘Memo’ tab, you can type in any notes in the ‘Pop-Up Notes’ field.

Once set, you can specify when you would like this message to appear when this piece of equipment is used. E.g. Whether this pop up should appear when the piece of equipment is used on a Job or Maintenance Contract and further this message should appear every time you go into the specified record. With the ‘recur’ tick box set, users across the system will get this Pop-up note whenever they go into the record.
