Engineer is Unavailable for the Working Time Specified           

If you are unable to complete a job visit on a Job because you get the message

“The Engineer is Unavailable for the working times specified.”

This means that there is an activity overlapping the engineer’s labour visit. To resolve this, you will need to turn to the Plannerboard for the date and time of the job visit. You may need to ‘send the visit to back’ (by right-clicking) to see the overlapping Job/Activity, which is highlighted on the Plannerboard with a thick white line surrounding it. The size of the highlight will depend on the duration of the overlap.

The activity causing the overlap only needs to be amended or removed to allow the job visit to be completed. Once the overlap is cleared, the highlighting line will disappear and you can return to your job to complete.
