What are site routes?

  • A Site Route allows you to assign one engineer to a group of customers or sites. The Site Routes module of the system is useful if an engineer attends the same customers when visits are required for either breakdowns or services.Having a Site Route is useful for reporting and job creating as the system can automatically assign the correct engineer to jobs as they are created via the Site Route information.

How to Create a Site Route?

  • Go to System ➔ More ➔ Site Routes

  • Type in the Route box the name of your new Site Route and hit ‘Enter’ on your keyboard, this will prompt and ask if you wish to add the new Site Route.

  • If you wish you can also add a description at this point to aid recognition.
    Select the Engineer from the drop down list to assign the route.

How do I assign a Customer to a Site Route?

  • Open the Customer record you wish to assign to the Site Route.
    On the General tab towards the bottom you will see a Site Route drop down box, select your Site Route within here.

Can I change which Engineer is allocated to a Site Route?

  • You can change which engineer is assigned to a Site Route by going to Go to System ➔ More ➔ Site Routes

  • Select the Site Route from the Route drop down list, then change the engineer in the Engineer drop down and click Apply once finished.

Can I print a list of Site Routes I have created?

  • Go to Reports ➔ Other ➔ Site Routes List
