It has come to our attention that Sage have expanded their 200 range of products and renamed some of them and it has created some confusion as to which products Protean will interface with.
There are now three versions of Sage 200:
Sage 200cloud Professional
On premise solution (Desktop)
Sage 200 Extra Online
Desktop version hosted in MS Azure, nothing installed on site.
Same as 200 Professional (Desktop) without BI/CRM & Manufacturing modules.
Sage 200cloud Standard Online
Fully Cloud-based in MS Azure, nothing installed on site.
Protean currently only supports Sage 200cloud Professional.
As and when other versions become supported we will update you again.
If you are planning on upgrading from Sage 50 to a 200 product or from one 200 product to another, or even just upgrading versions, please do contact your Account Manager or the Support desk who can help you make sure you will be able to continue interfacing with Protean without interruption.
