Categorising your engineers into Engineer Types allows you to apply filters to your plannerboard.
To set up Engineer Types, go to System > Job > Engineer Types
Within here you will see your list of existing Engineer Types. To add a new Engineer Type click Add and name your new Engineer Type.
Once added, you can see your new type in the list. If you have made a mistake, you can use the Edit button to bring up the same screen as above to rename an existing Engineer Type.
Once created, your new Engineer Type will be available as Type to set on the Engineer tab of the Employee record.
When assigned to an engineer, you can then filter using the Engineer Type on the Planner Board
