Protean Customer Web Interface

The Customer Web Interface (CWI) allows your customers to use the internet to not only view their equipment information live from your Protean data but also run reports and even log jobs and request quotes.

Each of your customers can have a unique login name & password which they can use to access the site. It is hosted on your webserver with a simple URL of your IP address plus /customer. It can also be accessed from your existing website via a simple link button.

You can even tailor what information each customer is allowed to see or what they are allowed to do using the current Protean security procedures.

Once logged in your customer can access various options using a menu bar.

 

Enquiries

Enables customers to view a list of Equipment registered with you, whether it be hire, rental or customer own. You can then drill down on a selected item to see further details including service dates & service history

agreement levels & intervals.

Customer can also view a complete job history and again drill down to look at an individual job which contains details on labour, parts & invoice details.

A list of contracts is also viewable where customers can drill down to see services

Requests

Customer can use the CWI to log jobs live onto Protean. By filling in details such as the problem & a contact name the CWI will create a job on Protean and deliver the job no straight back to the customer. The customer would also be able to view that job on the job list via the CWI to monitor its progress.

Customer will also be able to request a sales quote via the CWI. This request is delivered to a nominated staff member as a Task on Protean.
