Ticking this box will split the carriage costs across any goods booked in on this Goods Received Note (GRN).
When the Carriage Apportionment box is ticked, any carriage costs will be split on a pro-rata basis across any items booked in on the GRN. For example £10 carriage, and 2 items, Item A costing £90, and Item B costing £10. This would pass on £9 carriage to item A giving it a total cost of £99 and £1 to item B giving a total cost of £11.
The Carriage Apportionment option can be set up to be ticked by default from the Protean System ¦ Settings menu.
