Go to System > Utilities > Scheduler
Click the ‘Create’ button and then Task
Enter a name for this Task.
From the drop-down list select the Type of Task you wish to perform. The choices are listed & explained below:
Next, select the date & time when you wish to start this Task and how often you wish this Task to run.
Then choose which user to inform in the event of a failure with the Task, or Success or both.
The final option is useful if you are ‘stacking’ Tasks. For example you may have a Task to run the Import & Export of Customer prior to running a Batch Update. If the Export fails for some reason do you still want to go ahead and run the Batch Update.
