Why should I set up this list for Jobs?
- By setting up the list of Faults, Causes and Actions and then allocating them to Jobs you will be able to analyse the Job data for common trends. For example, at the end of the year you can run reports that might show you that 75% of all Jobs done were on a certain Make and Model and of those 50% were the same fault (bad starters for example). This may lead you to decide not to buy any more of that particular model.
How do I create a list of Faults, Causes and Actions?
- Go to System ➔ Job – Fault, Causes & Actions
- Within here, you can enter as many Fault, Causes and Actions as you want. These will then appear in the dropdown list when you are entering the job details
-
- To add a new description to the list, you can type in the new name into the name box. When you have entered a new description, you will get a prompt asking you if you would like to create this
- Once you have added as many fault, causes and actions as you want, click apply and these will then become available within the job screen.
