Importing and Exporting Customer and Supplier accounts
You have the ability to import and export your customer and supplier accounts between Protean and your accounts system.
To check what accounts system your Protean is linked to go to System ➔ Settings ➔ Accounts System and Batch file location
- To then Import/Export your customer and supplier accounts you need to go to
System ➔ Import/Export
- Once you have clicked on Import/Export you will have two tabs Import and Export, once you have clicked on the relevant one you need to tick the boxes to specify which type of accounts (Or Nominal codes) you would like to import or export and click ‘Run Import/Export’
Can I send new accounts I have created on Protean to my Accounts Software?

- If you have created a Supplier or Customer account in Protean as long as this meets the required information by your accounting package and it doesn’t already exist, running an Export will create this in your accounts system
