How do I use the Stock Search screen?
To get to the stock search screen, click on Stock

- The Stock Search screen allows you to find the stock part you are looking for when you know very little information about it. The search facility allows you to search on a fraction of any of the criteria available.
- These criteria are:
o Part No
o Description
o Stock type
o Manufacturer
o Manufacturer Part No
o Supplier
o Supplier Part No
o User Ref 1
o User Ref 2
o User Ref 3
- Within this search screen, you can enter as much or as little of the details that you have for the part number. For example, you can enter the whole part number or enter a few characters and click on search. The system will then show you results of all the part numbers that contain what you have entered.
How do I search for a Part by Part Number?
- To search for a part number by using the part number filter, you can enter the full part number or a fraction of the part number. For example, if you want to find a part number with the full part number, you can enter this within the part number search box
- If you only have a few characters of the part number, you can also enter this within the search box. This will then give you a list of all the part numbers that contain these characters
How do I search for a Part by Description?
- To search for a part number by using the description filter, you can enter the full part description or a fraction of the part description. For example, if you want to find a part number with the full part description, you can enter this within the part number search box
- If you only have a few characters of the part description, you can also enter this within the search box. This will then give you a list of all the part numbers that contain these characters
How do I search for Part by Manufacturer?
- If you know which manufacturer is used for the part record, this can be entered from the manufacturer drop down box and this will show you all parts that this manufacturer have
How do I search for a Part by Manufacturer Part Number?
- You are able to enter either all or part of the manufacturer part number. This will then show you all of the part records within the system that have this manufacturer part number created against them have
How do I search for a Part by Supplier?
- If you know which supplier is used for the part record, this can be entered from the supplier search box and this will show you all parts that this supplier supply
How do I search for a Part by Supplier Part Number?
- It is possible to search for the part record using the supplier part number. You are able to enter either all or part of the supplier part number. This will then show you all of the part records within the system that this supplier supplies
How do I search on User References?
- To search for a part record, you can use the User reference fields within the system. You can do this by using the three references fields that are available. If you enter the information within the relevant user references, this will show you all of the part records that have this reference
