Manufacturers
- To create a new manufacturer, you will need to go to System ➔ Stock ➔ Maintenance
- Within here, you can add a new manufacturer by entering a code for the manufacturer and the name of the manufacturer
- Repeat this for as many manufacturers that you want to add. Once you have finished this, click close to save the changes and exit the screen
What Can I Use Them For On Protean?
On the Stock Enquiry screen, you can select a Manufacturer from the list you have created for each Part Number on the system. Against this can also be recorded the Manufacturer’s Part Number
- This information is also available as criteria on the Stock Search screen. Both the Manufacturer’s name and Part Number can be used here
