A global suspension will allow you to Suspend Hire charges over a given period for whatever reason e.g. Bank Holiday hire charges
To set this up, go to:
Hire Global Suspensions
• Enter the Criteria that will help you specify the contracts that this suspension will affect
• Leaving the criteria boxes empty implies that all contracts should be affected – criteria items include Depot, Customer, Site, Contract No, etc
• Enter a date range for the Suspension
• Click the ‘Calculate’ button
• Protean will switch to the ‘Contracts’ tab and display a list of all affected Contracts based on the specified Criteria
• Individual contracts can be removed/amended as necessary
• Once you are happy with the selection, click the ‘Apply’ button to complete
