How do I Partially Despatch a Sales Order?

On a Sales Order, you may wish to despatch items at different stages whether this is because there are insufficient stock quantities or the customer has requested an interval in between despatches. You can consequently, partially Despatch a Sales Order.

For a Parts Sales Order:

• Click the Despatch button on the Sales Order
• On the resulting Despatch Note, amend the quantities to reflect the number of items being despatched – for each Part line
• Complete the Despatch Note by clicking Despatch
• After Invoicing as necessary on the Despatch Note, you can return to the Sales Order
• You can then Despatch the remaining Part lines on the Sales Order at a later stage

For an Equipment Sales Order

• Click the Despatch button on the Sales Order
• On the resulting Despatch Note, highlight any pieces of Equipment that you would like NOT to be Despatched
• Click the ‘Cancel’ button next to the Equipment number on the bottom left
• This will Cancel the Despatch for the selected piece of equipment
• Click through the Despatch for the remaining Equipment(s) as necessary
• You can then Despatch the remaining Equipment on the Sales Order at a later stage

For a Miscellaneous Sales Order

• Select the Items you would like to Despatch using the ‘S’ tick boxes to the right hand side of each Misc Item
• Click the Despatch button
• The system will mark these items as Despatched (Invoicing Req) but no Despatch Note is produced unless required using the ‘Print Despatch’ button
• Items can then be Invoiced using the same tick boxes
